This Hidden Spot In Wisconsin Is Unbelievably Beautiful And You’ll Want To Find It
Way up north, past Minocqua but before you get to Boulder Junction is Fallison Lake. The mostly-untouched and undisturbed land is just waiting to be explored. There are a ton of small lakes and bogs and so many hidden gems up here, but one of the best is Fallison Lake. There’s a hiking loop that goes all around the 50-acre lake with rock outcroppings, a boardwalk and more. It’s a bit of remote paradise in Wisconsin’s Northwoods and it’s totally worth the trip, no matter the season.
Not only is this area just truly beautiful, but it's a great and easy place to spend part of a day. There's a 2.5 mile loop around the lake and halfway around there's a clearing with picnic tables and a water pump perfect for a mid-hike break.
Fallison Lake is just so beautiful and the area around it is full of history, from the glacially formed lakes to the stone outcroppings. It's a great place for a family hike.
