Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. Did you know Wisconsin is home to the Midwest’s largest lavender farm? It’s true, and you’ve got to visit. Nothing short of whimsical, the farm boasts 20,000 lavender plants — but that’s not all. There’s also a shop, nursery, and bistro. And that’s in addition to a slew of events the farm hosts throughout the year. A real feast for the senses, any time spent on the farm won’t soon be forgotten. Take a look:
Fragrant Isle is open seasonally. During the summer season, which begins May 1st and extends until October, it’s open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the winter, which runs from November 1st through December 31st, it’s open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call (920) 847-2950.
