It may be cold this winter, but that’s no reason to be dreading it. Here are some reasons we should actually be looking forward to winter in West Virginia.

It’s hard to dread anything when things look so cheerful. This is the annual Festival of Lights display at Oglebay Resort & Conference Center in Wheeling.

Winter is great because on cold days you don’t feel any guilt for staying inside and curling up with a good book. So when it’s supposed to snow, just head to your local bookstore and pick up something you’ve been meaning to read.
