These 9 Covered Bridges In West Virginia Are Worth Walking Through
There are only 17 covered bridges left in the state of West Virginia. These beautiful bridges have been around for quite some time, too. Three of these covered bridges were built before 1870, with the furthest dating back to 1852. I just love the old look of a classic red covered bridge. It is just another one of the things that adds to the beauty of this wonderful mountain state.

If this were a list of all of the bridges that have ever existed in West Virginia, there would be more than 100. Covered bridges are absolutely incredible to me; I love seeing them. They have such a quaint and simple beauty.
