If you’re looking to be starstruck, look no further than these six places in West Virginia. You just might run into a famous actor, musician or athlete.
1. The Greenbrier Classic
The Greenbrier Classic is a yearly golf tournament at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs. This year Shaquille O’Neal, Bubba Watson, Jerry West and cast members from Duck Dynasty were among the celebrities who attended.

2. Or The Greenbrier resort even when there's no golf tournament
That’s what Reese Witherspoon did recently when she posted this picture of the resort on Instagram and wrote: "What a wonderful trip to The Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia! The decor by Dorothy Draper is breathtaking. ?Not to mention the food, the golf and the bowling! Thank you for the #southernhospitality !"
3. A West Virginia Power baseball game
Which is where NASCAR driver Cale Conley went earlier this month when he Tweeted this picture after throwing out the first pitch.
4. Tricky Fish in Charleston
That's where Melissa Etheridge raved about the hush puppies before one of her shows last year.
5. The Empty Glass
While the Empty Glass is a regular spot to see local celebrities (like a musician turned state delegate), it’s also a great place to see a more intimate set from famous musicians who play Mountain Stage.
6. Pies and Pints in Charleston
That's where Jennifer Garner and (now former) husband Ben Affleck were seen enjoying a pizza in June 2013. (Or you could try a West Virginia Power baseball game, Christ Church United Methodist, FestivALL or any of the other countless places we’ve run into J-Garn).
These are a few of the places where you might run into a celebrity in West Virginia. Which other celebrities have you run into here and where were you when it happened?
