6 Winter Festivals In West Virginia That Are Simply Unforgettable

This street festival celebrates Italian food, music, and culture. It will take place Saturday, December 10th, in downtown Fairmont. Parking will be free on the street or in the garage.

Celebrate the holidays with 40 acres of light displays, a recreated walk through the ancient streets of Bethlehem, hayrides with Elsa and Olaf (from Disney's Frozen), and visits with Santa. The festivities take place each weekend through Christmas.

More than 40 bands will gather for this event in historic downtown Lewisburg. The next event will take place on January 28th, 2017.

This Swiss celebration includes a parade and dance with masks, and the burning of an effigy of Old Man Winter to usher in spring. It occurs on the Saturday before Ash Wednesday, which will be February 25th in 2017.

Bring your sister, your sister in spirit, or meet a new sister! This festival for women takes place March 17th & 18th, 2017.
