What is Oddfest? It's a celebration of things that are unique and quirky. Businesses around Martinsburg elect to take part and show off special products and services that are just a little bit strange. It takes place June 25 and 26.

Arthurdale was founded as the nation’s first New Deal
Subsistence Homestead Community in 1933. This festival celebrates the history of the community with games, food, hayrides, and a visit from "Eleanor Roosevelt." It takes place July 9, 2016.

Huntington celebrates all things hot dog related, with hot dog eating contests, wiener dog races, dog costume contests, and plenty of gourmet hot dogs for everyone. The festival takes place July 30, 2016, and benefits a local children's hospital.

Hinton hosts a week-long festival of Power Boat Races on Bluestone Lake. This year it takes place from July 31-August 6.

It's not unusual to see an apple festival, but this one is special. The popular Golden Delicious variety was discovered right here in West Virginia. The festival will take place September 15th - 17th.

This annual event takes place at the New Vrindaban Palace of Gold. It's the American version of the Indian festival Holi, and it's said to be the world's happiest festival. It takes place September 17th.

This fun festival at Kirkwood Winery celebrates the old-fashioned way of making wine - crushing grapes with your bare feet! There will be a grape stomping contest as well as food, music, and other activities. It all takes place September 17th & 18, 2016.

The legendary Mothman is an important figure in West Virginia folklore, and is the star of his own festival every year. This festival draws paranormal enthusiasts as well as skeptics who just enjoy history and a fun event. This year it takes place Sept 17-18.
