The Train-Themed Restaurant In West Virginia That Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again
As anybody in West Virginia knows, the formation of America’s railroads is a big part of West Virginia’s development and history. So it’s no surprise that one of the most historic towns in the state has a train-themed restaurant. If you have ever spent a Sunday afternoon playing with trains, or even building a train table with your Dad, then a visit to this restaurant is sure to feel a bit nostalgic.
Hannah's Train Depot is located in historic Harpers Ferry. The restaurant is hard to miss, as it is essentially a train car with an extended restaurant attached.
Outside the train car, you will see a smoker and a design aesthetic geared toward its railroad theme. There is patio seating available for nice days, and space in the train car and the extended restaurant.
They also have a unique design aesthetic on one end of the interior train car - the wall is decorated by a likely uncountable number of people who have passed through its doors. There are signatures, phrases and drawings scrawled all over this section of wall.
