The River Cabin near Hinton, West Virginia is a lovely cabin perched on the banks of the Greenbrier River, with 200 yards of river frontage and a 140-acre backyard filled with woods and wildlife.
No resort can hold a candle to this simple, comfortable country home away from home that will fill your soul to the brim with quiet mornings broken only by the sound of rushing water and adorned only by magnificent mountain views.
The River Cabin contains one private bedroom with a double bed. You can prop open the window at night and drift off to sleep to the sound of the river. There's another double bed in a corner of the living room, and a twin-sized folding bed that can be positioned as needed, allowing the cabin to sleep up to five.
Cristy lives, writes, tutors, gardens, hikes, and relaxes with her family in the heart of Appalachia. She loves exploring new places, and she loves heading back home again when she's done.
