Ramps are a pretty big deal in West Virginia. We just can’t get enough of these tasty (if stinky) wild onions. Each year you’ll find local feasts and festivals celebrating this delicious sign of spring’s arrival.

This festival will take place on Saturday, April 8, from 11 AM - 3 PM. There will be bluegrass music, crafts, and tasty ramp dishes. The festival will be at the Robert C Byrd Center in Pine Grove, West Virginia 26419.

This festival is where it all began! The first ramp festival in West Virginia took place here in 1937. This year's feast will be held at the Cherry River Elementary School in Richwood. There will be live music, entertainment, an Art and Craft Show and a ramp dinner. It will take place on April 22, 2017.
