Go For A Socially Distant Ride Through West Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains With Mountain Rail
Great news, guys! Our favorite West Virginia train company, Mountain Rail (also known as Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad and including Cass Scenic Railroad) is looking to reopen for the season soon with a partial calendar of safe, socially distant train rides!
Here’s more information on the currently available Bald Knob trip; here’s the scoop on the Durbin Rocket. For more information and to book a train ride, visit the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad website.
Or, if you can’t make it to the various depots in person this year, the folks at Mountain Rail have provided virtual tours of most of their train routes, watchable here.
Which of these trains have you ridden? Which one was your favorite experience?
