This Incredible Kite Festival In West Virginia Is A Must-See

The 12th annual WV Kite Festival just took place at Brooke Hills Park, in Wellsburg, West Virginia. If you’re a fan of fun and whimsical kite creations, you’ll want to check out this event when it rolls around next year!

Every year, kite enthusiasts gather together at the park to let their kites soar.

The event is hosted by the SMART store from Wheeling's Centre Market.

The kites come in plenty of shapes and sizes.

There's something sure to appeal to your sense of whimsy.

Each year brings new and surprising kites.

Just about anything you can think of can fly!

It's impressive to see the kites dancing in the sky together.

It's plenty of fun for the whole family!

This year's kite festival looked a little uncertain, with cloudy skies.

In the end, the rain held off long enough to enjoy some great kite flying!
