The Unsuspecting West Virginia Truck Stop Where You Can Pull Over And Have An Amazing Meal
Let’s all admit that when selecting a place to dine out, most of us wouldn’t put a truck stop (more modernly referred to as a ‘travel center’) diner at the top of our list. But sometimes when you’re on the road, fast food just doesn’t seem like it will be a satisfying option. If you’ve ever been on a long stretch of the interstate, found yourself hungry and wishing there was an alternative to the same old fast food joints… then why not consider a restaurant at a travel center?
For instance, on Interstate 79 at exit 105, there is a restaurant at a truck stop right off the highway (you can see it from the interstate).
But step to the right and go through this door: the Robin's Nest. It's not fine dining, but if you had a couple of hours for a fine dining experience then we're guessing you wouldn't be traveling out on this part of I-79 right now, would you?
Among the flavorful items on the menu are soups, salads, sandwiches, meatloaf, steaks, chicken, salmon, pork chops, and a breakfast menu with food that'll stick to your bones all day.
Plus, the atmosphere is pleasant, the place is neat and clean, and it just might be your new go-to place to refuel (in more ways than one) when you're traveling in the area.
The Robin’s Nest Travel Center restaurant is located on the east side of Interstate 79 at exit 105/Jane Lew. Just look for the tall Valero fuel sign. The address is Robins Way, Jane Lew, WV 26378. It’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
