3 Spectacular Overlooks Are Hidden In A Single Fascinating Civil War Park In West Virginia
At the confluence of the Little Kanawha and the Ohio Rivers stands an old Civil War fort site overlooking Parkersburg, West Virginia that is now one of the areas favorite city parks. In addition to some fascinating history, this park, known as Fort Boreman Park, is known far and wide as the spot to come if you want to enjoy some absolutely spectacular views.

At the top of these steps, look for the Top of Hill Overlook; the trail then loops around toward the Parkersburg Overlook.
