For Just $325 A Night, Rent Camp Mad Anthony Wayne’s 28-Bunk Lodge Plus 4 Stone Cabins In West Virginia
There are times when you need a fun spot to host a big batch of people in West Virginia on the cheap. Maybe you’ve got a family reunion coming up. Maybe you’re getting married. Maybe you’re planning a church retreat or youth event. Maybe you want to meet a few friends and their families for a vacation.
Whatever the occasion, it's time you learned about what Camp Mad Anthony Wayne has to offer.
Located outside of Huntington, West Virginia, Camp Mad Anthony Wayne is an 88-acre campus with a lodge, four rustic stone cabins, a large campfire ring, a playground, and lots of opportunities for hiking and fishing.
The lodge sleeps 28 (in one large, open bunk room rimming the second floor of the lodge). It seats up to 72 (chairs and tables provided), but the capacity of the Lodge itself is 200.
The lodge and cabins were originally constructed in the 1930s and 1940s as a Boy Scouts camp. Now they are managed by the Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District.
A few additional notes: the lodge and covered patio (which provides additional space and seating) are wheelchair and stroller friendly. The Lodge and grounds can be rented for the day (from 8:00 a.m. to midnight) for $225 or for the night (from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the following day) for $325/night.
