Get Lost In This Beautiful 140-Acre Christmas Tree Farm In West Virginia
Christmas is coming on fast, and if you’re like us, you’re looking for a safe, fun way to get in the spirit and get out of the house! Fortunately, West Virginia is a prime spot for festive, old fashioned, scenic Christmas tree farms.
Christmas tree farms abound in West Virginia, and one of the best of these tree fields, with over 10,000 Christmas trees, is situated out in the rolling countryside north of Franklin in Pendleton County: Brushy Mountain Tree Farm.
This 140-acre, third-generation family farm has been raising Christmas trees for the last 14 years, and its reputation for quality and service has spread quickly.
Wander the hillside at Brushy Mountain Tree Farm to choose and cut your own holiday tree from a variety of evergreens - fir, spruce, and pine. The farm provides everything you need for the adventure, including handsaws, shaking and baling, and any other assistance you require in picking and packing out your perfect tree.
Pre-cut trees are also available at the lot, along with a variety of other Christmas tree supplies you might need - handmade wreaths, bows, and tree stands.
Long-time patrons will want to note that sadly, the Christmas Bazaar held in past years is canceled for this year, but locally made gifts and crafts will still be available for purchase at the tree farm during your regular visit!
Get in the season with family and friends, and come enjoy a festive country Christmas adventure in the mountains of Pendleton County! The farm is preparing for this year’s opening, on the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27. It will be open Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays during the month of December.
