Escape To Audra State Park For A Beautiful West Virginia Nature Scene
West Virginia is a nature lover’s paradise. Rural, mountainous, gorgeous – it’s a stunning combination that you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the country. So if a nature fix is what you need right now, then we highly recommend a trip to almost anywhere in the state. But if you need a more specific suggestion, Audra State Park is always a good choice at anytime of year.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Hidden away on the banks of a forested river deep in West Virginia's mountains is a state park straight out of a fairy tale.
Explore Audra State Park's Alum Cave Trail or spend the night in the state park's on-site campground... or do both for a truly refreshing escape into nature!
