Some hikes are great ways to relax and get away from it all. Others are like small adventures, with surprises waiting around every corner. This trail is both, providing a unique hike you won’t likely forget.
The Endless Wall Trail runs adjacent to the New River Gorge National River, not far from the New River Gorge Bridge. This 2.7-mile loop trail takes you to some unexpected places and offers amazing views of the gorge.
The trail, located near Lansing, is the second-largest natural rock formation in the world. It is rated as a moderate hike, making it fairly easy for kids 12 and up. Dogs are also allowed on the trail if kept on a leash.
However, you might want to keep your dog at home, since some sections of the trail are vertical. These areas can be bypassed, but then you will be missing out on all the trail has to offer.
