West Virginia, while it may be small, has a wonderful and broad selection of colleges and universities!
This list is of fifteen of the many higher education schools that West Virginia has to offer! (In no particular order, because they are all awesome!)
Alderson Broaddus University is located in Philippi, WV. Pictured above is the AB baseball team playing against WV Tech.
Bethany College, which is in Bethany, WV, is easily one of the most beautiful colleges that I have ever seen!
Bluefield State College is in Bluefield, WV, which is "Nature's Air Conditioned city." It's called that because of the enjoyable summer weather that the city typically has.
Concord University is located in Athens, WV.
Fairmont State University is located in Fairmont, WV.
Glenville State College is located in the tiny town of Glenville, WV. Channing Tatum played football for Glenville in the late nineties!
Marshall University is located in Huntington, WV. Marshall is one of West Virginia's most popular colleges to attend, and is an excellent school.
Shepherd University, located in Shepherdstown, WV is a great university. Pictured above is the mascot, Zan the ram!
University of Charleston is located in Charleston, WV. UC has a fantastic view of the West Virginia State Capitol, which is directly across the Kanawha River.
West Virginia Wesleyan is a private college and is located in Buckhannon, WV. Isn't the college just beautiful?
West Liberty University is in West Liberty, WV and is West Virginia's oldest institution of higher education.
Wheeling Jesuit University is a private Roman Catholic university located in Wheeling, WV.
West Virginia State University is a great school located in Institute, WV. This is the school that I attend!
Called WVU Tech for short, is a regional campus of WVU, and is located in Montgomery, WV.
West Virginia University is one of West Virginia's most popular colleges. WVU is known for it's partying and couch burning! The university is located in Morgantown, WV.
All of these amazing schools have so much to offer. They all have broad selections of majors and minors, wonderful student associations, and amazing professors.
I consider myself lucky to be able to call myself a student of West Virginia State University.
