The Winter Walk In Washington That Will Positively Enchant You
For the last 23 years, the beautiful Spanaway Park in Pierce County has converted into a scene of pure holiday magic. Families and friends gather to check out the impressive light displays, all while listening to seasonal tunes on the radio. While events like these are called winter walks, this one makes it even easier to enjoy it on cold winter nights — this “walk” is a drive-through.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Have you ever seen these beautiful lights? If you can’t make it to Spanaway this year, here are some other light displays that will send you straight into the holiday spirit.
