The River Campground In Washington Where You’ll Have An Unforgettable Floating Adventure
Whether you prefer to fall asleep by the ocean or stare at the stars above a shimmering lake, there’s something special about camping by the water. And if you’d love to set up camp next to the unmistakable sounds of a river, reserve a spot at the Tolt MacDonald Park & Campground this year. While this small campground isn’t as well-known as the larger sites in the area, it’s a delightful place to spend some time in nature.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The 574-acre park offers spots for both RV and tent camping, or you can stay in one of the six onsite yurts. But don't expect big crowds -- there are just 16 RV sites and 22 sites reserved for tents.

There are around 12 miles of forested and riverside hiking trails near the bridge.

Each campsite has a fire ring and a picnic table, and the RV sites have hook ups for water and electricity.

These sites are walk-in only, so you'll have to cross the suspension bridge to reach them.

But when neither of those events are happening, this place is pretty relaxing.

If you're a fan of tubing, you can hop in anytime and go for a float.

That being said, the Snoqualmie River is one of the top tubing rivers in Washington, so you won't have to go far for a more exhilarating adventure.

This place is perfect for a nature lovers' summer escape.
