And while there aren’t many amenities on Guemes Island, it does happen to be home to a ridiculously charming general store and restaurant. And the food is out of this world.
The Guemes Island General Store is easily accessible from the Guemes Island ferry.
It makes a fantastic day tip from Anacortes or the surrounding areas.
This all-in-one store definitely includes plenty of household groceries, necessities, and staples ...
... but it's also packed with tons of treats.
From local coffee to chocolate bars, you'll find everything you didn't know you needed here. And if there's a grocery item you need and don't see, just ask the staff. If they have it in the kitchen, they'll probably sell it to you.
