This Pleasant Washington Town Is An Absolute Foodie’s Dream
Woodinville is one of Washington’s famous wine towns, and it’s an all-around pleasant place. Despite the fact that it’s only 20 miles from Seattle, it feels significantly more laid back and peaceful. It also happens to have an amazing food scene.
First, Woodinville is home to The Herbfarm, one of the best spots in the state to celebrate local food and wine.
The Herbfarm is the only AAA 5-Diamond Restaurant west of Chicago and north of San Francisco. The menu changes seasonally, but it always offers plenty of locally grown and raised cuisine with the perfect wine to pair with it.
But since The Herbfarm won't always be in the budget, you can always have a memorable dining experience at Purple Cafe & Wine Bar on Woodinville Redmond Road.
Purple's ambiance is elegant, but their food is both delicious and unpretentious.
Craving something Italian? Head straight to Italianissimo Ristorante on Woodinville Duvall Place, where the meatballs are famous and the ambiance is amazing.
They have the best handmade pasta in town.
You could easily spend an entire day eating and drinking your way through the Hollywood District.
That's where you'll find Redhook Brewery, the state’s largest microbrewer, dozens of wineries, Hollywood Tavern, ViVi Pizzeria, Le Petit Terroir, and so many more eateries.
Barking Frog is another fine dining spot at Willows Lodge, and although they serve all three meals, their brunch is exceptional.
The huevos rancheros are addictive.
Since this is an agricultural community, you'll find all kinds of fresh seasonal produce in the area as well.
If you enjoy sophisticated small town living with an amazing dining scene, prepare to fall in love with Woodinville.
There's much more to this city than beer and wine (although both are extraordinary).
Woodinville is so delightful. And it just might make a
wine lover out of you.
