Make Your Summer Epic With A Visit To This Hidden Washington Water Park

Nearly every Washingtonian knows that Lake Chelan is the place to go for boating, fishing and general lakeside lounging. But what many people aren’t aware of (until they arrive) is that it also has a highly rated water park. And if you’ve never been to Slidewaters, make this the summer you check it out.

They've been around since 1983, and the locals and tourists have been enjoying it ever since.
Float down the lazy river and enjoy the views of the mountains in the distance.

The slides include Thunder Rapids, the three-lane Downhill Racer and "The Mains," a classic 300 foot slide with a great mix of twists and drops.

There's even a pool for youngsters and a Bug-A-Boo slide with squirt guns.

You can grab a treat from the Tiki Hut when you need to cool off, rent a private pavilion for a party, or practice your serve at the sand volleyball court.
Slidewaters is open seasonally, from late May until early September.

During that time, they're open daily from 10 AM - 7 PM. Admission is $23 for adults, $18 for kids, and free for little ones 3 and under.
