There’s A Ship Graveyard At Picnic Point In Washington And It’s Under-The-Radar

Picnic Point Park is a peaceful, scenic spot located in Snohomish County north of Lynnwood. And while the waterfront scenery is absolutely delightful, if you go at low tide, you might see more than you bargained for. Picnic Point is known for being near a “ship graveyard”. The remnants of multiple old ships lie in the area, and on the right day, you just might spot one.

Editor’s note: While Picnic Point is a public park, the area where the ships lie is on private property. Look, but do not approach — trespassers will be prosecuted.
