This Rustic Steakhouse In Washington Is A Carnivore’s Dream Come True
No matter what part of Washington you call home, a mouthwatering steak dinner is never far away. From our casual eateries to our swanky steakhouses, we’ve got plenty of options for satisfying a craving for red meat. And there’s one spot in Spokane that was recently renovated, and the steaks are better than ever.
Located at 6637 N. Wall St., The Barrel Steak & Seafood has been around since 1982.
Back then, it was known as the Beryl, a nautical-themed seafood spot. In 2015, it was purchased by Nelson and Phelps Hospitality, which spent the next two years renovating it and rebranding it under its new name.
Despite the changes, the interior remains delightfully rustic...
... and the meat is magnificent.
Prime rib is served every Friday and Saturday night, and the standard menu is full of savory steak options.
Although The Barrel experienced a drop in business after its initial rebranding, customers have grown accustomed to the new look and menu.
The food here really speaks for itself. The beef is all natural and the seafood is always fresh.
As good as the food is here, it's The Barrel's warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps people coming back.
Locals love relaxing in the lounge, which has 6 TVs.
The next time you're in Spokane, give The Barrel a try.
They're open from 11AM-10PM on weekdays, 4-10 on Saturdays and Sundays.
