Are there any cabins in Washington near Multnomah Falls?

There are some wonderful cabins for rent in the Columbia River Gorge area. One of the closest we found to Multnomah Falls was this charming updated cabin in Corbett, Oregon about half an hour from the Wilder and Pine riverside cabins. This beautiful cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps four. Aside from the stunning wilderness views right outside your door, this cool cabin has a wood-barrel sauna that will knock your socks off. Not only that but you'll relax away all your stress in the hot tub as a cozy fire burns in the wood-burning stove.

Where is the best view of Columbia River Gorge?

The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most scenic areas in the Pacific Northwest. The river winds its way through a deep canyon, and along the way, it passes by a number of waterfalls, including the famous Multnomah Falls. There are many great places to enjoy the view, but for the best experience, you should head to Crown Point. From there, you can see both the river and the falls from above, and on a clear day, you may even be able to see all the way to Mount Hood. Whether you're enjoying the view from a distance or getting up close and personal at one of the many hiking trails, there's no doubt that Crown Point offers one of the best vantage points for taking in the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge.

How many waterfalls are in the Columbia River Gorge?

The Columbia River Gorge is home to some of the tallest waterfalls in North America. While there is no official count, estimates put the number of waterfalls in the gorge at between 77 and 86, but there could potentially be well over 90 if you include smaller hidden waterfalls. The largest and most well-known falls are Multnomah Falls, which plunges 620 feet, and Wahkeena Falls, which drops over 400 feet. However, there are many other smaller falls worth exploring. Horsetail Falls, for example, tumbles down a cliff face in a series of small steps, creating a breathtaking cascade of water. No matter how many waterfalls you end up seeing, the Columbia River Gorge is sure to take your breath away.
