This 50-Year-Old Railroad Themed Drive-In In Washington Is A Roadside Gem
It’s always exciting to visit a new restaurant here in Washington, especially when they
win national awards. But there’s nothing like a meal at a tried-and-true eatery that has been around for the better part of a century. And that’s exactly what you’ll find at Zeke’s Drive In.
Zeke's is located at 43918 State Route 2 in the tiny town of Gold Bar -- and yes, this roadside gem features an old railroad car.
This historic hamburger stand is a local treasure.
Zeke's was founded in 1968, so they celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.
They've won several local awards, including Best Roadside Burger by King 5 in 2017.
The menu here is simple and scrumptious: Burger, fries, sandwiches, hot dogs, and perfect milkshakes.
This is classic comfort food done right.
Zeke's is located near several local hiking trails, and Washingtonians love coming to fuel up after a long hike.
The sandwich menu is surprisingly extensive for a small roadside eatery. You can enjoy a French dip, BLT, or a Reuben, plus several other grilled options.
Zeke's is so popular, they sell their own swag.
Once you sink your teeth into a juicy burger, you'll be proud to sport a t-shirt.
Zeke;s Drive in is open daily at 11 a.m. They close at 8 p.m. Thursday - Sunday, 7:30 p.m. Monday - Wednesday.
The next time you're driving by, pull over and try this tasty gem.
