Plan A Visit To Spirit Falls, Washington’s Beautifully Blue Waterfall
Washington’s waterfalls are second to none. While our superstars like Snoqualmie Falls and Spokane Falls require no effort to see, some of our most stunning falls require a little extra effort. The next time you find yourself in the Columbia River Gorge and you’re up for a challenge, try making the hike to Spirit Falls.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

If you can find it, you'll see that it's extremely photogenic.

The Spirit Falls Trail is located near Underwood. And although it's only about a mile in length, it's pretty challenging.

Depending on the weather, you might get a little muddy. Be prepared.

This unique waterfall is breathtaking (and not just because of its elevation).

There's also an inaccessible cavern visible behind the falls.

It's definitely not easy to access in the rain or snow, but you may be rewarded with walls of icicles hanging along the rocky walls.

Hike the Spirit Falls Trail and check out these vibrant blue waters.
