9 Outdoor Restaurants In Washington You’ll Want To Visit Before Summer’s End
We’re almost ready for changing leaves and pumpkin spice here in Washington… but we’re not
quite there yet. Luckily, we’ve still got a little summer left, and that means we’ve still got some great outdoor dining options. These eateries are best enjoyed in sunnier seasons.
1. Ray's Cafe, 6049 Seaview Ave. NW, Seattle
Ray's has been a local favorite for decades. And even though plenty of new and exciting outdoor dining options have come to Seattle since, you can never go wrong with this classic seafood spot on a warm summer day.
2. Clinkerdagger, 621 W. Mallon Ave., Ste 404, Spokane
Dining at Clinkerdagger is a one-of-a-kind experience. But everyone knows it's best done in the summertime, when the deck with a perfect view of Spokane Falls is open.
3. Passatempo Taverna, 215 W Main St., Walla Walla
Taking a trip to Walla Walla before summer ends? Make sure to dine at Passatempo Taverna, a contemporary Italian spot with the best handmade pasta ever (and an amazing garden patio).
4. McMenamins On The Columbia, 1801 SE Columbia River Dr., Vancouver
The city of Vancouver has a prime location, right on the Columbia River. And there's really no better place to enjoy the view than from McMenamins On The Columbia in the summertime.
5. Nourish, 101 Province View Lane, Sequim
At Nourish, you can enjoy true farm-to-table dining. In fact, when you eat in the outdoor garden area, you'll be eating right where your dinner is grown. The fact that the site is beautiful doesn't hurt.
6. München Haus, 709 Front St., Leavenworth
First, if you're planning a late summer trip to Leavenworth, count your blessing, because it's gorgeous. Next, grab an outdoor table at München Haus and treat yourself to a bratwurst with all the toppings. Heat lamps keep this restaurant open all year long, but this time of year, all you'll need is the sunshine.
7. Oyhut Bay Bistro, 404 Salmonberry Lane SW, Ocean Shores
If you're heading to the coast for a late summer getaway, pull up a chair at this charming sidewalk cafe. The food and the service never disappoint.
8. The Fish Peddler Restaurant, 1199 Dock St., Tacoma
The Fish Peddler serves scrumptious boat to table seafood (and burgers and sandwiches) from their spot on Foss Waterway. And while it's a great place to go in any season, there's nothing like enjoying your meal from the waterfront patio.
9. The Oyster Bar, 2578 Chuckanut Dr., Bow
You'll find a lot more than oysters on the menu at The Oyster Bar on Chuckanut Drive. What you won't find are better sunset dinner views anywhere right now.
Outdoor dining is a beautiful experience we enjoy for a limited time here in Washington. Here are some b
eautiful waterfront restaurants to find before winter.
