The Northrup Canyon Trail Will Show You A Completely New Side Of Washington
Right outside of Electric, Washington is a trail that you probably haven’t hiked before. It’s called the Northrup Canyon Trail and will give you some fantastic views. The hike takes you right into a canyon where you’ll be surrounded by rock on either side of the trail. The terrain is a little different from what you will typically find in Washington. Wear sturdy hiking boots because the ground is known for being rocky.

Take time to enjoy some lovely views and solitude as you make the trek.

Lots of different kinds of trees live in the canyon including pine, willow and aspen trees.

It looks more like the Southwest than the Northwest in the canyon!

It's in pretty good condition considering no one has lived there for years.

Imagine waking up to this view every day!

They kind of look like red rocks coming out of the ground.

A lot of different animals live in the area, too.

It's easy to see why this hike shows off a different side of the state!
This is one of the few trails in the state that will make you feel like you are somewhere else! Visit AllTrails here to learn more about the hike and others in the area.
