Washingtonians are lucky enough to experience all four seasons, and we definitely live each one to the fullest. And while there’s no better way to celebrate summer’s arrival with a nice refreshing swim, that first plunge into cold waters feels even better after a heart-pounding hike. The Moulton Falls Trail walks you along the Lewis River straight to a waterfall swimming hole you won’t want to miss.

Moulton Falls Trail is an out-and-back hike that combines a nice, peaceful nature walk with a bit of adventure.

The trail is mostly flat, so it's a pretty easy trek for someone of any skill level.

At times, you won't even feel like you're exercising.

Moulton Falls is breathtaking in any season, but it shines its brightest in the summer.

This spot makes a fantastic swimming hole, and plenty of Washingtonians take full advantage.

Cliff jumping is dangerous, so proceed with caution. And make sure you're not hiking or swimming alone.

Take a hike and go for a swim before summer's over.
