Eastsound is a historic village that's just a 15-minute drive from the ferry to Orcas Island.

In the summertime, this place stays perpetually packed with hungry locals and tourists enjoying the sunshine.

Mijitas is only offering takeout, although they'll resume sit-down dining service as soon as possible.

But since all the ingredients come from the Northwest, they add a local flair.

The guacamole is as fresh as it gets.

The grilled fish tacos and tacos al pastor tend to sell out, so order them as early as possible.

Mijitas offers tequila, beer, and a long list of margaritas to-go.

Current hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., but their summertime hours will expand.
Tacos, margaritas, and island time are fun in any season. Check out Mjijitas’ latest updates on their Facebook page.
