The Twinkliest Town In Washington, Leavenworth, Will Make Your Holidays Merry And Bright
The holiday season is in full swing here in Washington, even though it may not feel like it. We’ll be the first to admit things certainly don’t feel the same, and our hearts are with everyone who is missing loved ones, worried over finances and health problems, and all the other catastrophes of 2020.
The good news is, Washington’s twinkliest town, Leavenworth, is still shining as brightly as ever. While it’s true that there was no tree lighting festival this year and the only available dining is outdoors, this is still a beautiful spot to visit to make your spirits bright. And if you’ll be in need of a post-holiday boost, you’ll be happy to know that these dazzling lights stay on until at least Valentine’s Day.

Typically, large groups of family and friends gather to take in the lights, buy their holiday gifts, sled down the sledding hill, visit Santa, and more...
Front Street has been closed o vehicle traffic since July to allow for additional social distancing. This means you can spread out and enjoy the views without the crowds.
Plenty of local restaurants have heated patios and cozy outdoor spaces, allowing you to enjoy a tasty meal safely.
You're also welcome to bring some tasty takeout to your hotel room or cabin. And, while you might have to wait for a few minutes, you can still do plenty of shopping here.
Leavenworth has always been a wonderful gathering place for family and friends... and the city is still here for you, waiting to lift your spirits.
Bring your masks, sanitizer, and your cozy winter apparel, and prepare to experience the holiday magic well into February. Because if there's one thing 2020 has taught us, it's that time is man-made, and we can celebrate the season whenever we'd like.
