Dining At This Stunning Washington Restaurant Feels Like Experiencing A Dream
A restaurant doesn’t have to be beautiful to serve amazing food… but it doesn’t hurt if you can eat said amazing food in a visually stunning setting. When you’re looking for a little more than a casual meal, ambiance definitely matters.
The route to one of Washington’s dreamiest restaurants involves a gorgeous ferry ride, and that’s not even the best part.
This is the Manor House Restaurant on Bainbridge Island.
Located at Pleasant Beach Village (4611 NE Woodson Lane), this old historic home has been converted into one of the island's hottest dining spots.
The outdoor gardens are absolutely magical...
... and yes, you can dine there.
The outdoor fireplace will keep you cozy on a cool night.
The ambiance out here is amazing, and there's nothing like a fireside chat over a fantastic meal.
Of course, the main dining room is just as beautiful.
But how's the food, you might be wondering?
In a word, exceptional. Chef Joe Benish is an amazingly talented local rising star who likes to reinvent classic recipes using local ingredients.
The rotating menu often includes plenty of shareable small plates, seafood, and hearty entrees.
During happy hour, from 5-6 p.m. and from 8:30-close, you can have plenty of savory snacks and fresh oysters for a low price.
Needless to say, this is a wonderful place to have a private event like a wedding...
... but no matter why you're dining here, it will feel like a special occasion.
The Manor House is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings for dinner beginning at 5 p.m. They also host regular wine dinners. Reservations are recommended.
