With A Gigantic Heated Outdoor Patio, Malt & Vine Has A Cozy Gathering Spot To Enjoy Local Cuisine In Washington
Outdoor dining season used to be tragically short here in Washington… and suddenly, over the last year, it has become a year-round way of living. With heated patios, illuminated tents, and decked out igloos popping up all over the state, it’s safe to say that creative outdoor dining is here to stay, at least for the time being.
Redmond’s Malt & Vine recently debuted their new outdoor seating area, and it’s fantastic. In addition to sipping on some of the best local craft beer and boutique wines, you can feast on takeout from plenty of neighborhood restaurants.

For the better part of a decade, this neighborhood gem has been a favorite stop for locals looking to purchase some of the best local beer and wine in one stop.

There are also over 900 bottled beers and hundreds of wines, ciders, and mead.

This is more than just a retail shop, however -- it's a community gathering space. And when current restrictions started to limit indoor gathering, the team came up with a creative idea.

This is the largest outdoor drinking area in Redmond. It's located behind the building, and it's nothing fancy -- you'll definitely want to bundle up. But it does allow for safe, fun social gatherings.

In addition to the hundreds of options for libations and the small food menu here, you can order takeout from quite a few neighborhood restaurants and enjoy it here.

Their Redmond location is right around the corner, and the Q-bao (pan-fried buns) and soup dumplings are out of this world.

Other local food options include Gyros 2 Go, Nasai Teriyaki, and Hyderabad House, just to name a few.

The patio is open to all guests, and it's a great place to gather.
