Go Ice Skating Under The Stars At Riverfront Park In Washington
Do you have any Washington winter traditions? If you live on the east side of the state (or you plan to visit soon), we certainly hope one of them involves a trip to Spokane’s Riverfront Park. Not only is the park absolutely gorgeous when it’s decked out for the holiday season and dusted with snow, but it’s also home to the Numerica Skate Ribbon, a unique ice ribbon that allows you to show off your skating skills.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Ice skating is just one of the many fun things you can do in Spokane in the winter, but it’s definitely one of the more exciting activities. And if you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can always check out Leavenworth.
