If you’re hungry, there are places all over Washington that can make you a five-star meal. Seattle alone has a huge food scene, not to mention all of our small cafes and bistros. Yelp, Trip Advisor, and Facebook reviews can definitely make it a lot easier to decide which places are worth checking out. We saved you the research, and put together these 12 top-rated spots across the state:

You haven't truly experienced Seattle until you've stopped by this Russian staple in Pike Place Market. They offer over 20 different varieties of these fresh, handcrafted pastries. The smell alone will draw you inside. Pictured is their Salmon Pate and Beef & Onion.


This cute and cozy cafe in Sequim specializes in gourmet breakfasts and lunches. Their dishes range from creative pancakes to egg entrees, waffles, French crepes, French-baked omelettes, gourmet scrambles and espresso.


Everything on the menu at this family-friendly pub on the Kitsap Peninsula is fantastic. They make pizza, sandwiches, seafood, and entrees like Chicken Pot Pie and Baby Back Ribs. If you're a fan of craft brews, try their original Ridgetop Red.


You can always count on amazing comfort food at this pub house in Pullman. Their golden shoestring fries perfectly compliment all of their gourmet burgers and sandwiches.


This award-winning restaurant in Tacoma is located in the historic Waddell Building. They're known for their fresh seafood, steak, sandwiches, and excellent Happy Hour deals.


A trip to Leavenworth isn't complete without stopping by this place for a delectable German sausage. They also offer giant soft pretzels with cheese, and local brews from Icicle Brewing Company. If you'd like, you can load up the dogs with toppings and condiments, including several types of mustard and their famous apple-cider kraut.


Wild Sage Bistro is a hot spot in Spokane, and for good reason. They make unique, creative entrees that will leave your mouth watering for days. If you're able to save room for dessert, try a slice of the "Soon To Be Famous Coconut Cake", with mascarpone-coconut cream filling and a lilikoi sauce.


Boundary Bay is a prime spot to bring the family for Northwest dishes made with local ingredients. They're located ideally inside a historic warehouse downtown, with an excellent selection of handcrafted brews to complement the food.


It's easy to pass by this gem on 1st Ave since they have a modest "Caffe Lieto" storefront. But there's no doubt they've perfected the art of breakfast. They serve biscuit-based foods, as well as homestyle scrambles to pair with their premium espresso.


McGlinn's is a local favorite in downtown Wenatchee. The family-friendly establishment has been going strong since 1922, so you know they're doing something right. Their fresh salads and wood-fired pizzas are addictive, as well as their rich desserts to top it all off.


Pomegranate Bistro is a relaxing place to grab brunch on the east side of Seattle. Opened by Lisa Dupar Catering, the popular comfort food always seems to hit the spot. Try some of their fresh Fish Tacos, or classic Fried Chicken & Waffles.


On the top floor of the Adrift Hotel, you can find this popular spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Their Dirty Dirty Fries are tempting, but if you're looking for a full meal, you'll never go wrong with one of the wood-fired pizzas.
