Everyone Will Love Cuddling With Alpacas At Happy Valley Alpaca Ranch In Washington

Most of us animal lovers would probably agree that it’s almost impossible to have a bad time when we’re hanging out with animals. Animals, after all, are so pure and loving, making it easy to let life’s stresses melt away for a bit. If you’ve never spent time with an alpaca or two, make it a priority to change that. A visit to Happy Valley Alpaca Ranch in Washington, for example, might even make you fall in love.

If you've never met an alpaca, you might be surprised at just how quickly you fall in love with the adorable *and* friendly animals that are well known for their beautiful fleece.

Founded by Linda and Mike Gooch in 1997, the alpaca ranch boasts a shop, hosts events throughout the year, and welcomes visitors for tours.

If you're an avid gardener or a newbie, you won't find a better fertilizer than alpaca manure, which you can purchase during your visit.

Tours are offered by appointment only. If you've got kiddos, you'll definitely want to bring them along to meet some of the gentlest animals on earth.

You can make a reservation for your tour by calling 360-681-0948. The farm is generally open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (If you plan to go over on a Saturday, just give a quick call to make sure they're open.)

The alpaca ranch also grows lavender, which you can purchase in the ranch shop.

After you've spent time hanging out with the alpacas, make your way to the ranch store.

There, you'll find a little bit of everything - yarn, blankets, and clothes all made from alpaca fiber. The shop also sells gifts, puppets, and alpaca ornaments.
