Go Glamping In Wine Country At This Tranquil Washington Vineyard
Not only is Alexandria Nicole Cellars a household name for many Washington wine drinkers, but its tasting rooms are also amazing destinations. Ranked among the Top 10 Hottest Brands in Wine Business Magazine, the team at Alexandria Nicole Cellars produces some top notch vino. And if you happen to be tasting in the Horse Heaven Hills area, you can end your day by going glamping in wine country at their vineyard in a delightful tiny house.
It all started in 1998 when the family broke ground on the Destiny Ridge Vineyard, which sits nestled in the Horse Heaven Hills overlooking the Columbia River.
They believe that quality wine starts in the vineyard, and it shows.
You can taste the award-winning wine at tasting rooms in Woodinville, Prosser, and private tastings at The Estate at Destiny Ridge...
... but you'll only find these delightful tiny houses at the vineyard in Prosser.
These allow you to spend the night on the property, which is as relaxing as it sounds.
Each of the four tiny houses on the property comes equipped with queen beds, full kitchens (except the especially tiny Affinity Albarino), and French press coffee makers.
The area is remote, of course -- so plan on taking a break from WiFi when you're here.
This is the perfect place to be after a long, beautiful day of wine tasting.
The Destiny Ridge Tasting Room has an assortment of wines ready to pour, some of which you'll want to purchase for your stay.
The tiny houses have appeared on HGTV's Tiny House Big Living.
And if you've ever seen that episode, you know how wonderful they are -- it won't be easy to leave at the end of your vacation.
The houses rent for $200 - $300 nightly, although wine club members get a 20% discount (and wine).
This part of Washington sees 300 sunny days a year, so it's perfect for a getaway... although no one will blame you if you spend half your time in your cozy bed.
