Don’t worry, Seattle – you’ll always hold the title of the most eccentric part of Washington. That being said, those who are intimidated by the massive size of the Emerald City can still find plenty of quirky places to visit in the Evergreen State. And if it’s been awhile since you’ve been to Bellingham, pack your bags for the northwest corner of Washington… and prepare to fall in love.

Downtown Sounds is an annual concert series full of free, family-friendly performances celebrated in the Arts District on Bay Street. It's one of many events and festivals Bellingham hosts throughout the year.
