Washington had to collectively postpone its spring break this year, which is never fun. But thankfully, modern technology has allowed us all to stay connected virtually to our friends, family, and even to some of our favorite places. And as fun as virtual tours of our favorite museums are, this incredible drone footage of Washington’s favorite islands is even better.
Keith Medlin posted some beautiful drone footage from a trip to San Juan Island and Orcas Island, and it’s the best thing to being there in person.
Despite their popularity and fairly small size, the islands are slow-paced and rural, and you'll never feel crowded when you're there.
There are four iconic lighthouses on the public lands on the islands, three of which stay open to the public.
