If the idea of touring a Victorian mansion with its halls fully decked sounds appealing, we highly recommend checking out Christmas at the Mansion at Puyallup’s Meeker Mansion. It’s laid back, beautiful, and surprisingly relaxing.
The Meekers traveled over the Oregon Trail to make a home here. They raised their six children here, and their daughter, Olive, got married at the mansion. Eliza was an instigator of the first Puyallup library, and Ezra was a prominent figure in the hop market, a merchant, a bank president, and a big promoter of the Northwest.
And during the holiday season, it's all decked out in holiday cheer.
