The Burritos From Casa Que Pasa In Washington Are World Famous And Delicious
Sometimes, it’s the little things in life that mean the most… like a massive, cheesy, potato-filled burrito when you’re starving, for example. Casa Que Pasa in Bellingham serves an array of tasty Tex Mex classics, but it’s their world famous Potato Burrito that put them on the map. Here’s why you need to try one.
Casa Que Pasa is located in the charming college town of Bellingham, on Railroad Avenue.
The eatery has been around since the early 90s, but its internet fame is fairly new.
Inside you'll find a colorful, eccentric eatery, complete with a full tequila bar.
You'll find over 115 kinds of tequila on those shelves. And the margaritas here (which come blended or on the rocks) are magnificent.
From nachos piled high with toppings to tacos and salads, you'll find an array of delicious delicacies here...
,,, but it's this, the Potato Burrito, that put this place on the map.
The ingredients in the world famous burrito are simple: Deep fried potatoes, pinto beans, cheese, and an addictive housemade red chili cream sauce.
While the Potato Burrito isn't the only burrito on the menu, it's the most popular by far, thanks in part to famous food critic Alton Brown.
Brown featured the burrito on his show, Good Eats, in 2017. Ever since the show aired, about 70% of the restaurant's orders are for the Potato Burrito.
When you visit, you'll want to bring your appetite or plan on taking home leftovers.
The Potato Burrito comes in two sizes, which cost $8.99 and $10.99. The larger of the two sizes weighs over two pounds!
Casa Que Pasa is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.
Come see what the hype is all about -- you won't be disappointed.
