Nestled in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, the Annette Lake Trail clocks in at just under eight miles, and every mile is chock full of natural beauty.
The trail is considered moderate, although some hikers consider it easy with some strenuous parts that include steep climbs. If you're hiking after a snowfall, consider wearing spikes.
One of the highlights of the trail is, undoubtedly, Annette Lake. If you're camping out, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better spot to watch the sunset or the sunrise.
Chances are you'll encounter quite a few bugs, too, including mosquitos, on the trail (depending on what time of the year you head out), so bring along plenty of bug spray.
