It all started when founders Ken and Ginger Harrison arrived in the late 1990s and searched for land suitable for planting world-class Cabernet Sauvignon.

When the Harrisons found this property, it captured their hearts. They committed to restoring the farmstead and turning it into a unique local destination.
And now, Abeja is far more than a vineyard and winery. It's an event space where weddings and milestone celebrations are held (when conditions allow), and a bed & breakfast with some rather unique overnight accommodations.

The wine itself is phenomenal, and the list includes both reds and whites.
Abeja means bee in Spanish, and this property was named not only for the many wonderful employees ("worker bees") who work hard to keep things looking pristine but the actual bees that flock to the lavender in the garden when it's in season.
