Sometimes, escaping the winter blues means diving right into the beauty of the season. That’s exactly what you’ll find on a trip to Roaring Run Falls in Virginia’s beautiful Jefferson National Forest. This 1.2-mile trail won’t keep you out in the cold for too long and features a gorgeous waterfall that may even be frozen depending on the temperature. Between the heightened visibility of the trees and a dazzling mountain stream, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived in Narnia.
