This Virginia Restaurant Is Hiding Inside A Victorian Mansion And It’s Exquisite
Virginia’s extensive history means its lucky residents have ample opportunities to learn about the past. While many such sites function as museums, there are quite a few exceptions to the rule. One such case is a delicious restaurant that happens to be located inside a Victorian Mansion. Tucked away in Christiansburg, Virginia, the Summit Restaurant is a dining experience for the books. Take a look at what’s in store:
If you were passing by the Summit Restaurant, you might think this historic building was some sort of museum or residence to be admired from the outside.
Yet this 1888 Victorian Recreation House is much more than a testament to history. Inside awaits a gourmet dining experience housed in the most exquisite setting.
Of course, you can skip all of it and opt for a simple dessert. The made-to-order creme brulee is absolutely divine, especially when served with a cup of coffee or tea.
