Here in Virginia, we’re downright spoiled by the number of beautiful outdoor spaces, parks, and natural wonders to explore. Today’s destination is one to add to the list of your favorite places in the great outdoors. Three Lakes Park lives up to its name with beautiful water views as well as nature trails that meander through the woods. Whether you’re looking for wildlife or simply seeking solitude, you’ll love all that this park near Richmond, Virginia has to offer.

The Nature Center includes additional information as well as a public restroom.


Throughout the park, there are plenty of benches where you can rest and soak in the scenery.

Some visitors have noted that parts of the nature trails are wheel-chair accessible. Most sections are four feet in width and made up of gravel or dirt. These routes are best suited for motorized wheelchairs or all-terrain strollers.
