The Virginia Brewery Located Inside A Converted Greenhouse Is Too Cool For Words
You’ve probably noticed by now that breweries are a trend in Virginia that don’t seem to be going anywhere soon. And that’s wonderful news, especially considering just how unique these establishments can be. One of the newest breweries on the scene, Skipping Rock Beer Company has made its home inside a converted green house. How cool is that? Here’s more on why you’ll want to visit this local business soon.
Located near Staunton in the heart of Augusta County, you'll find one of the newest breweries in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Skipping Rock Beer Co. draws its inspiration from the surrounding countryside and promises a relaxed vibe inside.
Skipping Rock has made its home inside the former JMD Farm Market and Garden Center. What once stood as the greenhouse is now used for brewery production and wholesale distribution.
While the greenhouse may be gone, there's no denying that the beautiful natural lighting and plant-friendly aesthetic is what makes Skipping Rock Co. such a great place to visit.
It's family friendly, too, in case you'd like to bring the little ones. You'll find board games and food trucks for entertainment and light snacks throughout the afternoon.
If you visit during the spring and summer, you'll love the expanded outdoor area, with ample seating and festive lighting. Can you imagine a cooler weekend hangout spot in the mountains?
Skipping Rock Beer Co. can be found at 414 Parkersburg Turnpike, Staunton, Virginia. Have you had a chance to check out this new brewery? If so, we’d love to hear all about it!
